Graduations on our IPCL member, Jing Fang

On May 28, 2026, Jing Fang, a master's graduate student in the laboratory (majoring in mechanical industrial design and engineering), participated in the master's thesis defense. The thesis title: System design and research on a haptic glove based on flexible sensing and multimodal feedback. At the defense meeting, Jing Fang gave a detailed explanation of her research content during his master's degree. After the unanimous discussion of experts, it was agreed to award her a master's degree in mechanics. During her master's degree, she published a paper in a SCI journal.

In the next step, she will officially start her career and join Geely Automobile Research Institute (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. Founded in 2016, the company is the base camp and headquarters of Geely's R&D. With a R&D team of more than 10,000 people, it focuses on intelligent driving, artificial intelligence and new energy technology, and operates the world's largest automobile safety test center. The proposed position is body and exterior design.

2026年5月28日，实验室硕士研究生方静(机械工业设计工程专业)参加了硕士论文答辩，论文题目：基于柔性传感与多模态反馈的触觉手套系统设计与研究。答辩会上，方静同学对其硕士期间的研究内容进行了详细讲解。经过专家一致讨论，同意授予其机械硕士学位。在攻读硕士学位期间，她发表了1篇SCI期刊论文。

下一步，她将正式开启职业生涯，入职吉利汽车研究院（宁波）有限公司。该公司始创于2016年，作为吉利研发大本营和总部，拥有超万人的研发团队，聚焦智能驾驶、人工智能及新能源技术，运营着全球最大的汽车安全试验中心 。拟任职岗位为车身及外饰设计。
